Under the guidance of the Non-profit organisation, Coffee Quality Institute. Coffee being produced at the Kyauk Kuu Pyin village has steadily grown in yield, quality and price, this positive increase has also realised a much improved infrastructure for this village 120km South of Mandalay, Myanmar. Focused on producing natural processed coffee, U Thein Tun oversees production for nearly 500 families in this village.
Utilizing raised beds and being in a dry climate allows the villagers of Kyauk Kuu Pyin to dry their harvested ruby red cherries whiten 14-21 days, consistent movement in the coffee results in a consistent profile, full of bright fruit but yet, extremely clean and delicate.
