It has been 2 years since we first received sample coffees from East Timor. And since then, its specialty coffee industry has grown by leaps and bounds. Having tasted a variety of fantastic coffees from the Letefoho region, we have settled on this Renumata micro-lot.

The Renumata village is located approximately 1-hour southwest of Letefoho town. It comprises of a close-knit community of 10 smallholder producers. Atypical of smallholder farming structures, each farmer is responsible for not only harvesting his own cherries, but processing and drying as well, before consolidating dried parchment with other farmers within the same village. Recent introduction of raised beds have allowed for a more even drying process. Thus, resulting in one of the best micro-lots Letefoho has seen.
