Originating from lesser known West Arsi Zone of the Oromia region in Ethiopia, this allotment of Werka Uchuro is produced by Testi Coffee’s Gora Kone washing station, one of the quality driven mills operated by the Yonis family. Testi Coffee is meticulous in maintaining quality at every stage of harvest and processing, results in an overall higher value and quality product. Which is indicative of this coffee.
Once harvested, coffees are left to dry over 15 - 18 days, coffees are turned regularly to minimise spoilage. Dry and hot climates in high altitude environments like the Werka Village allow for consistent and effective drying without creating overly fermented flavours. This results in a crisp, clean, yet tropical aromatic and taste profile.
